The idea of constructing a thermal resort was born in 2006 and from the beginning it was meant to consort with the natural landscape of the terrain. The investors wanted to achieve a unique blend between a modern design and elements of regional folklore, while using environment friendly solutions. The materials used for the construction were supposed to be natural stone and wood – those that are prevalent in the Podhale region.
The resort used the funding from European Union as part of the European Regional Development Fund within the 4.4 act about new investments with a highly innovative potential of priority axis 4: Investments for innovative projects of Operational Programme Innovative Economy 2007-2013.
Project name: New Waterpark: Geothermal Innovation in Healing and Recreation Services was completed between 2009 and 2011.
The water from pool hollows meets the requirements of the Healthcare Minister from November 9th 2015.
