Best views in Tatras without hiking

There are days when despite good intentions, your laziness wins. When such day comes, you just want to take your car and go to a beauty spot to admire the mountains instead of going for a hike. Here you will find some tips and data on some of the best vantage points in Polish Tatras.

Litwinka, Czarna Góra

Vis-à-vis Terma Bania building you can see the Litwinka mountain with a characteristic cross at the top. You can get there by car and enjoy the view of the Tatras, as well as Pieniny and Gorce mountains. 360 degrees of feast for your eyes!

Łapszanka Pass

Here, in cloudless, clear weather you can admire a breathtaking view that spreads from the Belianske Tatras up to the Western Tatras. Getting there is not the easiest thing, especially in winter, but for these views - it's well worth it.

Ciągłówka – Zakopane

Experience Zakopane in the valley on the background of Tatras with characteristic Giewont peak. Getting there is not easy as part of the road is unpaved. Turn left on Ciągówka street just before the hospital and head up the narrow street. When the asphalt road ends, keep driving for 400 m until you reach the vantage point. You can get there also from Ząb village heading to Zakopane.

Głodówka clearing

Fabulous Tatras’ panorama from a clearing in Brzegi, on the road from Białka Tatrzańska to Morskie Oko. On the opposite side of the street there is a mountain shelter where you can eat homemade cake and take a closer look on the mountains’ peaks with binoculars that have been installed there.

Terma Bania

In out thermal baths you can admire Tatras directly from pools! Belianske Tatras and High Slovak and Polish Tatras are well visible unless there are some serious, heavy clouds on low ceiling. Choose a place with water massage and fill your eyes with the mountains.
